The Brief: Utilise Bacardi’s existing fan base on Facebook by creating a bespoke social media idea to promotes Bacardi’s 150th birthday – and build brand engagement/loyalty.
The Solution: Working alongside RAPP’s sister agency in London we developed a simple, yet engaging idea: ‘Casa Bacardi’. We invited the brand’s existing Facebook friends to take part in a once-a lifetime party opportunity. All they had to do was share their idea of the ultimate Bacardi party for a chance to win VIP access to the event of a lifetime as well as bagging some other Bacardi goodies along the way.
The Result: An impressive 68% response rate from Bacardi’s Facebook followers. Plus additional followers by Facebook referral, growing the Bacardi community.
